Elma Stefanía Ágústsdóttir


Elma Stefanía Ágústsdóttir graduated as an actor with a B.F.A. in acting and performance from the Department of Performing Arts, Iceland Academy of the Arts, in 2013. Upon graduation, she was immediately offered a contract with the National Theatre of Iceland. Her roles at the National Theatre this season are as Sigrún in Harmsaga, directed by Una Thorleifsdóttir; Abigail in The Crucible, directed by Stefan Metz; and Eva in Infants, directed by Ágústa Skúladóttir. At the Iceland Academy of the Arts she acted in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Strindberg Variations, and Tímaskekkja. She acted in de Fleur's film City State. She is married to Mikael Torfason, the author of Harmsaga.
