Dave Price


Dave Price is a composer, performer, and sound designer. He is an associate of the award-winning physical theater company, Gecko.
His theater credits include original scores and sound designs for Rats' Tales (Royal Exchange Manchester); Missing (Gecko); A Soldier in Every Son–An Aztec Trilogy, and Measure for Measure (RSC); Fen (National Theatre Studio/Finborough); and Adventures Inside (Lyric Hammersmith/Love Productions for Channel 4).
Mr. Price's theater credits for composer and performer include The Overcoat and Taylors Dummies (Gecko); Beasts and Beauties (Hampstead); and Troilus and Cressida (RSC).
Mr. Price recorded several albums and toured extensively with the pop group Aqualung and works with singer-songwriter Gwyneth Herbert as multi-instrumentalist and co-producer of her forthcoming CD, which is the culmination of a residency at Aldeburgh Music. He co-founded the experimental music collective Noszferatu, which recorded a CD, Drempel, for the NMC label and performed at major U.K. contemporary music festivals and several times on BBC Radio 3.
His other recent highlights include gigs with Eska, Finn Peters' Music of the Mind project, and recording with Duke Special and Regina Spektor.
