Biography

Tappers With Attitude Youth Ensemble (TWA), founded in 1991 by Renee Kreithen, is a unique and multicultural group of young dancers on the cutting edge of the Renaissance of tap dance. Directed by Victoria Moss, the dancers, whose age’s range from 10 to 18, represent schools from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. TWA has performed on stages throughout the area and on local and nationwide television. Highlights include: Wolf Trap Center for Performing Arts, Smithsonian Institution, Carter Barron Amphitheater, the Kennedy Center Open House and Am-Jam Festivals, the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to honoree Shirley Temple Black and the 2001 New York City International Tap Festival.
