Biography

Andrew Duhon is a songwriter from New Orleans, a teller of stories with an undeniable voice, weighted and soulful. Duhon has released three recordings, the latest of which, The Moorings, was nominated for a Grammy® in 2014 for Best Engineered Album. He has toured solo for much of his career, and the troubadour element is certainly present as an usher of modern day folklore. His latest ensemble, The Andrew Duhon Trio, brings a new musicality to the tunes with upright bassist, Myles Weeks and drummer, Maxwell Zemanovic. Since recording The Moorings together as their first project, the Trio has been crossing the American landscape, touring and creating together, the thoughtful colors of the trio breathing a new direction into Duhon’s songwriting traditions.

Percussionist G. Maxwell Zemanovic resides between New Orleans, New England, and Key West. His efforts as a recording artist have been utilized by television networks MTV, E!, ESPN, Bravo, and VH1. As a clinician, Maxwell has conducted workshops and masterclasses throughout Australia, Asia, and North America, most notably at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Myles Weeks is a New Orleans based bassist/composer who was born and raised in Baton Rouge. Since moving to New Orleans, Myles has greatly enjoyed working with artists such as Andrew Duhon, Eric Lindell, Luke Winslow King, Seth Walker, Colin Lake, Gill Landry, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Brad Walker, and many more.
