Biography

The Youth Symphonic Orchestra and Choir “Polígono Don Bosco” (YOPDB) is a fundamental part of the arts promotion program carried out by the “Polígono Industrial Don Bosco,” located in the “Comunidad Iberia” of San Salvador. The orchestra and choir were created in 2011, and currently comprise 250 young musicians and 300 choristers from over 60 public schools. Its members are vulnerable, at-risk boys and girls ranging between eight and 18 years of age.
