Jazz is America’s music and the U.S. Navy Band Commodores, the Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, has been performing the very best of big band jazz for the Navy and the nation for more than 40 years. Formed in 1969, this 18-member group continues the jazz big band legacy with some of the finest musicians in the world. Joining the U.S. Navy Band Commodores in performance is vocalist and Musician 1st Class Kristine Hsia.

Artistic Director Tony Small present a tribute concert in which renowned artists give back to the youth who needs us most. The varied performance features presenter Raymond Bokhour, from the cast of Broadway’s Chicago; singer/songwriter/actor/photographer Jussie Smollett, from Fox’s Empire; Gospel award-winning artist Maurette Brown Clark; jazz/classical violinist Chelsey Green; Ukrainian duo Solomia Gorokhivska and Andrei Pidkivka; and The Boys & Girls Club children’s choir.
