Ron Allen

Getting his first thrills in 1975, Ron Allen made his skateboard mark on the world with his ollies while riding for the legendary H-Street Skateboards in the '80s. Appearing in two historic H-Street skate videos, Shackle Me Not and Hokus Pokus, and in the Life video A Soldier Story defined Ron Allen's skating and formulated the foundation for the legendary status he currently enjoys. Allen is still skating, shredding, and competing at over 50 years old as if he just discovered skating and is always stoked for a session. He is sponsored by Huff Worldwide, 3D Skateboards, Independent Trucks, Powell Wheels and Bearings, Low Life Socks, Severed Provisions, El Señor, Beastgrip Pro and Westside Skateshop.

He is a true skateboarder untainted by the industry pit falls; to him everything about skateboarding is fun. Beyond skating, his other passions include music and MCing, which he's also done for more than 25 years. He has had the pleasure of performing with many talented musicians over the years and has made music for some epic skateboard videos. R.A. has done a lot of art and has been a creative contributor from the Bay Area. Ron's art can be seen in his different skateboard companies: Life, Fun, American Dream, Heeterz, and Energy Skateboards. These companies have had the honor to have sponsored some of the best skateboarders in the world. Ron Allen has been giving back through Positive Skateboard Experience, his skateboard camps and events in Northern California for the past twenty years.
