Alexander Castillo


Alexander Castillo (Corps de Ballet) was born in the Bayside, New York. He began his training at Ballet Academy East under the direction of Darla Hoover. Upon graduating, Alexander finished his training at the School of American Ballet. After completing his year at SAB, he joined the Los Angeles Ballet under the direction of Colleen Neary and Thordal Christensen. During his time with the Los Angeles Ballet, he has performed leading roles in ballets by Balanchine and Jirí Kylián. In the spring of 2013 he was promoted to soloist-the first male soloist at the Los Angeles Ballet. Alexander is excited to join The Suzanne Farrell Ballet.
