Runqiao Du


Runqiao Du received his ballet training at Shanghai Dance Academy in China, where he was born. He has toured with American Ballet Theatre and joined The Suzanne Farrell Ballet in 2000. His repertory with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet includes Balanchine's Scotch Symphony, Monumentum and Movements, Tzigane, Who Cares?, Divertimento No. 15, Serenade, Meditation, La Source, La Valse, Don Quixote; Robbins' Afternoon of a Faun and Béjart's Romeo and Juliet. He is a principal dancer with The Washington Ballet where he has appeared in leading roles in Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cinderella, Giselle and The Nutcracker.
