Jeffrey Nelson

Jeff Nelson was always interested in the arts, but it wasn’t until he started classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia that he found his focus in stop-motion and 3-D animation. Nelson’s animations are created from original ink drawings. After he had studied animation for less than a year, one of his works was selected as a trailer for an award at the Philadelphia Film Festival. He recently received an Award of Excellence in the VSA/Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., exhibition Accelerate. Nelson, who has a learning disability, still attends the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
