Biography

Twenty-six year old French-Iranian pianist Nima Sarkechik has already established himself as an
extraordinary young talent; his musical maturity and remarkable technical skills have seduced his
audience. During the 2005-2006 season, Nima Sarkechik made his debut at the International Festival of Piano of La Roque d'Antheron and at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées. He later performed recitals in many French festivals and venues (Festival de Radio-France, Orsay's Museum, "Festival des Serres d'Auteuil", "Festival d'Enghien", "Festival du Grésivaudan", Museum of Grenoble, Palais du Pharo in Marseille, Palais des Congrès in Ajaccio and Strasbourg...), as well as abroad : in Switzerland at the Saint Ursanne Festival,
the " Musicales de Compesières " where he performed Mozart 11th Piano Concerto with the Camerata
Bellerive conducted by Gabor Takacs, at the "Radio de la Suisse Romande"; in Luxembourg (Neümunster
Festival); Italy (CIMA Festival), Portugal (Açores Festival), in the USA (Lincoln Center at New York City),
in Canada, Marocco and Turkey.
