Vincent Lê Quang Trio



Biography

French saxophonist and composer Vincent Lê Quang merges both his classical and jazz training to create dazzling and vivacious improvisational music with his Trio. Lê Quang studied at Schola Cantorum and Conservatoire National Superieur de Music in Paris, and his mentors include Pierre Doury, François Jeanneau, Riccardo del Fra, and Patrick Moutal. He is the First Prize recipient in both the soloist and orchestra areas of the French jazz contest “La Defense,” as well as the recipient of the Meyer Foundation and Societe Generale grants. Lê Quang can be heard on numerous jazz recordings and has collaborated with artists such as Georges Leothaud, Rainer Boesch, Alain Savouret, Jean-Philippe Muvien, Daniel Humair, Jean-Paul Céléa, Louis Sclavis, Vincent Peirani, and Maja Pavlovska.
