Gina Artese



Biography

Gina Artese received her ballet training from Laura Luzicka then later at the State Ballet of Missouri School with Todd Bolender, Una Kai, and Lisa Dillinger. She also trained on full scholarship at The Joffrey and Pennsylvania Ballet Schools. Gina has danced professionally with Kansas City Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet.  Her favorite roles include Melancholic in The Four Tempermants, Serenade (in the Kennedy Center’s Balanchine Celebration in 2000) and the featured role in Todd Bolender’s Jerome Kern Piece which was especially created for her.  This is her second season with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet.
