Ryan Kelly



Biography

Ryan Kelly received his dance education from sources as varied as the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the School of American Ballet, the Juilliard School, and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. His professional dancing career includes four years as a member of New York City Ballet, frequent performances with Company Appels and Todd Williams/Bellerophon, and guest involvements with Ben Munisteri Dance Projects, Dance as Ever, and Utah Regional Ballet.  Mr. Kelly’s choreography has been showcased in New York City and at many Regional Dance America companies. He participated in the inaugural sessions of both the School of American Ballet Student Choreography Workshop and the New York Choreographic Institute. Ballet Builders has twice presented his choreography on dancers of New York City Ballet and a special piece d’occasion was included in the Youth America Grand Prix Gala in Lincoln Center. Mr. Kelly has participated in the esteemed Pacifica Choreographic Project and has choreographed for the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and the Vineland Regional Dance Company.  Mr. Kelly is co-Director with Brennan Gerard of Moving Theater, an emerging multi-disciplinary performance collective in New York City.
