Potomac Falls High School Guitar Quartet



Biography

The Potomac Falls High School (PFHS) Guitar Quartet was founded by its director, William Hart Wells, in 2006 and has performed extensively since its inception.  A before-school, auditioned ensemble, the PFHS Guitar Quartet is comprised of some of the most talented and dedicated students of the PFHS Guitar Department.  The ensemble’s most recent engagements have taken them to performances at the American Association of School Administrators convention in Washington, D.C., the Croatian Embassy in Washington, D.C., the Cathedral of Saint John the Devine in New York City, Shenandoah University, James Madison University, and Appalachian State University as well as community performances for the Excellence In Education banquets of Loudoun County Public Schools,  retirement communities throughout Sterling, VA, the Loudoun Ballet, and the Master Singers of Virginia.  The PFHS Guitar Quartet is based on the principles of pride, musicianship, and respect, and is dedicated to the development of character, leadership skills, and life skills through artistic development and training.
