Vyacheslav Artyomov

After completion of his conservatory studies in Moscow in 1968, Vyacheslav Artyomov devotes much his energies to composing. His works reflect a variety of musical influences, ranging from the neoclassical, through Russian folk music, to Eastern meditation. Most recently when composing, he has sought to foster in listeners more exploration of their interior worlds.

Among his works are Lamentations (for chorus and percussion instruments), Requiem (for chorus and orchestra), and Sola Fide (for chorus and orchestra).
