**Temporary Position

Gi Lee joins the NSO as Second Clarinet for the 2017–2018 season. Lee was a member of Haddonfield Symphony (currently known as Symphony in C) and regularly performed for several years as a substitute player with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He has been invited to the Tongyeong Music Festival in Korea and Santo Domingo Music Festival in Dominica Republic to perform as principal clarinet in 2017.

A native of Seoul, Korea, Lee came to the United States in 2005 to study under Ricardo Morales, Principal Clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He graduated from the Korea National University of Arts and received his Master of Music from Temple University. Currently, he serves on the faculty on Boyer College Music and Dance in Temple University.
