Comedy at the Kennedy Center: Underground Comedy is D.C.’s premier independent comedy production company, producing more than 50 shows every month. These shows have been featured on Comedy Central and in The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, and DCist. In addition to highlighting local talent, each weekend Underground Comedy brings rising comics from around the country to D.C. to perform. These comics have appeared on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, Fallon, Conan, Showtime, and HBO.

This program contains mature themes and strong language. Free general admission tickets will be distributed in the Hall of States starting at approximately 5 p.m., up to two tickets per person.

Presented in collaboration with the Mark Twain Prize 20th Anniversary.
