GALA Presents: Paso Nuevo Youth Performance Group—A Butterfly’s Eyes

9/1/2018 at 10:00 AM

A teenager from El Salvador recounts her journey crossing borders to reach the United States. At each stop along the way, she must face issues relating to love, racism, coming out, bullying, self-esteem, immigration, and how to find solidarity and comradery in a dangerous world.

This performance of A Butterfly’s Eyes begins at 6 p.m. on the Millennium Stage. The full schedule of Page-to-Stage events for 9/1 gets underway at 10 a.m. in various venues throughout the Center.

Presented as part of the Page-to-Stage Festival.
