Transportation from Metro

Metro Symbol

All Kennedy Center shuttle buses are equipped with a wheelchair lift with a capacity of 500 pounds. These red vans run between the Foggy Bottom Metro station and the Kennedy Center approximately every 15 minutes. Please visit the Directions and Parking page for more information on getting to the Kennedy Center by Metro.

Patrons are also encouraged to visit Metro's website for current information on track work and elevator and escalator outages that may impact their travel.


Accessible Tours

All tours of the Kennedy Center are wheelchair accessible. Touch tours, sign-interpreted tours and tours with assistive listening devices are offered upon request with 2 weeks' advance notice. Specially Priced Ticket (SPT) Program

Ticket Symbol

The Kennedy Center and other participating presenters offer a limited number of tickets at 50% off the full Box Office price. These Specially Priced Tickets (SPTs) are offered and sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability, to eligible patrons.
