Bert LaBonté previously appeared for Melbourne Theatre Company in The Mountaintop, Elling, Clybourne Park, Next to Normal, A Behanding in Spokane, Richard III, The Hypocrite, Don Juan in Soho, The Madwoman of Chaillot, Tomfoolery, The Female of the Species, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Measure for Measure, and Wait until Dark. Among his other stage appearances are Phèdre (Bell Shakespeare); An Officer and a Gentleman (GFO); Grey Gardens, Chess, and Kismet (The Production Company); Guys and Dolls (Ambassadors Theatre Group); When I Fall In Love–The Nat King Cole Story (The Spielgeltent); The Full Monty (IMG); Binned (TheatreWorks); and Jesus Christ Superstar (U.K. tour for Really Useful Group). Mr. LaBonté's credits include many appearances in TV series and the films Animal Kingdom, Nightmares and Dreamscapes, Rats and Cats, Evil Never Dies, and Salem's Lot. For his performance in A Officer and a Gentleman, Bert received a Helpmann Award for Best Supporting Role in a Musical.
