Shoshana Segal was born in Romania and moved to Israel as a child. Her hearing difficulties disconnected her from other children. As her vision deteriorated, her isolation grew. "I am part of society now. People love our show. I always look forward to going to Nalaga'at--it is much more than going to work. I meet my friends and we all care for each other. I think God loves the deaf-blind in Israel." Shoshana lives by herself in Beit Itzhak, a village in mid-western Israel.
