Biography

Jenna Nelson (Corps de Ballet) is from Seattle, Washington and began ballet at the age of 12 in Maple Valley. Jenna trained on full scholarship with the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Pacific Northwest Ballet and joined the corps de ballet in 2011. In 2013, Jenna danced with Oregon Ballet Theatre. Her repertory includes Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Swan Lake, Emeralds, Walpurgisnacht, Concerto Barocco, and Jerome Robbins’s The Concert (Or, The Perils of Everybody, Jean-Christophe Mallots’s Romeo et Juliette , Nacho Duato’s Por Vos Muero, Nicolo Fonte’s Bolero and Maggie Mullen's Lost In Light. Jenna choreographed a ballet for Oregon Ballet Theater in 2014 titled Particles and in 2015 a ballet for Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet titled Invisible. This is Jenna’s fourth season with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet.
