Henry Krieger is delighted to be collaborating with Bill Condon again. They first worked together when Condon wrote the screenplay adaptation and directed the feature film of Krieger's Broadway hit Dreamgirls. For the Dreamgirls film, Krieger received three Academy Award nominations and won his second Grammy Award, for the song "Love You, I Do." (His first Grammy was for Best Original Broadway Cast Album for Dreamgirls.) Broadway credits include The Tap Dance Kid, which ran for two years. Mr. Krieger's musical Romantic Poetry, written with John Patrick Shanley, was presented at the Manhattan Theater Club. His collaborations with Side Show author Bill Russell include the musicals Kept, Lucky Duck, and, at the Kennedy Center, Up in the Air, directed by Amon Miyamoto.
