Biography
These young, talented singers and dancers are guaranteed crowd-pleasers, entertaining audiencesof all ages with their unique renditions of Australian rock songs. Their high energy, choreographed
dance numbers fuse jazz and hip-hop with thick harmony singing.
The Young Australian Broadway Chorus touring troupe is comprised of musical theatre performers
ranging in age from 12 to 20. They are all talented singers, dancers and actors who are currently
practicing artists in our advanced level classes. They come from a variety of different backgrounds
and have performed extensively with the organization in our musical theatre shows, event and in
our national Australian tours. Many are also active entertainment industry professionals appearing
in feature films and television shows.
This is Australia, features song and dance version of Australian rock and pop songs, ranging from
1960’s all the way to present day. Songs such as AC/DC’s - It’s A Long Way to the Top, The Easybeats’
- Friday On My Mind, John Farnham’s - You’re the Voice plus many more.
The Young Australian Broadway Chorus has performed across Australia and Internationally at
Universal Studios, Disneyland (Paris & California), Disney World, The Lincoln Centre, The Empire
State Building, Smithsonian Institute, Daley Plaza (Chicago), Soho Theatre (London), York Theatre
(NYC), Starlight Foundation’s Starball, The Arts Centre Melbourne, Southbank Theatre, Malthouse
Theatre, Chapel Off Chapel Theatre, Relay for Life, National Theatre, Odeon Theatre Adelaide and
The Edge Theatre in Melbourne’s Federation Square.
