Naomi Jacobson


Naomi Jacobson most recently played Alfred Lunt’s sister Louise in the world premiere of Ten Chimneys for Arizona Theatre Company and earlier this season Katherine of Aragon in King Henry VIII at the Folger Library Theatre (2010 Helen Hayes nomination). An 18-year Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company member, she has performed in many D.C.-area theaters, including Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Kennedy Center, Ford’s Theatre, Signature Theatre, Round House, Theater J, Olney Theatre Center, Theatre of the First Amendment, and the D.C. Fringe Festival. Other credits include the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York, the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, and the Berkshire Theatre Festival. Ms. Jacobson’s film and television credits include Her Father’s Eyes, I Fall to Pieces, and Homicide: Life on the Streets. Radio and voice-over work includes The Smithsonian, Discovery Channel, PBS, and radio dramas for L.A. Theatre Works/NPR. She received an Inaugural Lunt/Fontanne Fellowship in 2009 (mentored by Lynn Redgrave), a Helen Hayes Award, nine Helen Hayes Award nominations, and an Individual Artist Grant from the D.C. Commission on the Arts.
