One of the most dynamic young musicians of his generation, Canadian violinist Adrian Anantawan plays with a sense of expression and musicianship that inspires critics and audiences alike. Born without a right hand, he transforms our vision of playing the violin. Anantawan received the 2002 VSA International Young Soloists Award and is a 2008 Terry Fox Hall of Fame inductee. Recent highlights include performances at the official One Year Countdown Gala of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and at the White House, as well as soloing with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. His documentary, Adrian Anantawan: The Story Behind the Notes, debuted on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in 2008. TV Guide chose the documentary as a top pick and called his performance "being touched by greatness."
