Briana Duensing grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida, playing the piano from the time she could climb up onto a piano bench. She demonstrated an early love and gift for classical music. By the time she was diagnosed with autism at age six, she was already performing in school and church. In both her junior and senior years of high school, she won the VSA Florida Young Soloists Award. Duensing is currently a student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and studies piano under Professor Clifton Matthews. Her goal is to become a concert pianist.
