Lynnda Pardoe


Lynnda Pardoe’s photography reveals the effects of unregulated industry and growth on our society and depicts the remnants of the human-altered environment. Pardoe’s imagery strives to lead the viewer toward the uncomfortable realization that beauty can be used in the service of an ugly truth. Her goal is to educate the viewer and create a dialogue about the work and the imagery she depicts. Pardoe, who has bipolar affective disorder, received her master of fine arts degree from the Art Institute of Boston in 2006 and has participated in domestic and international exhibitions. Pardoe was born in Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives in Chicago, Illinois.
