A graduate of the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, American bass Jordan Bisch has appeared there in several productions, including Il Barbiere di Siviglia, The Magic Flute, Aida, Idomeneo, Romeo et Juliette, and on tour in Japan in Don Carlos. He has also appeared at the San Francisco Opera, Seattle Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Dallas Opera, Arizona Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Los Angeles Opera and at the Théâtre du Capitol in Toulouse. In concert he has appeared appeared at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and at the Tanglewood and Verbier festivals. A native of Vancouver, Washington, Mr. Bisch won second place in the 2009 Operalia competition. Other awards include winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Grand Final, recipient of the 2005 Sara Tucker Study Grant, and a recipient of the Richard Tucker Career Grant in both 2006 and 2009.
