Josef Kucera


Josef Kucera (performance audio control) - is currently Chief Recording Engineer for the Warren Music Center Studios at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He has innumerable credits as engineer for commercial CD and DVD recordings, film and television productions, live concerts, operas. He is faculty at the San Diego City College, Department of Music, consultant to the Library of Congress on archival issues and a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for the last 13 years. Kucera has been the Master Sound Engineer for Reynolds' productions at the National Gallery of Art and the Great Hall of the Jefferson Building in Washington, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and The Second Theater Olympic s at the Shizuoka Performing Arts Center in Japan.
