Cindy Hutchins



Biography

Cindy Hutchins is a Washington, D.C. native. She has performed in musical theater productions throughout the area at such venues as The Kennedy Center, Olney Theatre, and MetroStage. For many years Cindy has been a member of the Smithsonian¹s American Song Company as both a performer and producer. She was a fellow at the Eugene O¹Neill Theatre Center¹s Cabaret Symposium, is on the board of the DC Cabaret Network, and has produced and performed in cabarets on many stages including those of Signature Theatre; Kennedy Center¹s Millenium Stage; Shenandoah Valley Music Festival; Round House Theatre; Atlas Performing Arts Center and the Prince Theatre. She also created the cabaret series “Wednesdays at Eight” at the Shoreham Hotel's Marquee Lounge, and “Torch Songs” at Planet Fred.  She traveled throughout the U. S. and to Europe with the Big Band revue In the Mood and has been a soloist with numerous area orchestras and bands including the Fairfax Symphony, the Arlington Symphony, the Fairfax Concert & Big Bands, and Doug Bowles' Singco Rhythm Orchestra. Cindy has also worked as a producer of musical theatre and special events, and currently serves as Associate Producer of Tomfoolery Entertainment's Cirque Voilà!
