Marilyn Maingart


Flutist Marilyn Maingart attended the Philadelphia Music Academy where she studied with John Wummer and performed with Jean Pierre Rampal at his master classes in Nice, France. She was the first Grand Prize Winner of the First Annual Financial Federal Music Showcase Competition of Miami. She was Principal Flutist of the Belgium Radio and Television Orchestra and she performed in several quartets with James Galway throughout Belgium. She is currently Principal Flutist with the Symphony of the Americas, Ballet Florida, Treasure Coast Opera, Palm Beach Pops and Coral Spring Pops. In 1998 Maingart toured the Orient as soloist with the Mantovani Orchestra, performing 67 concerts in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Tokyo.
