Dynamic Duo


Dynamic Duo, the hip-hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko, is one of the most well-known and prolific groups to ever come out of Korea. Originally members of the seminal underground hip-hop crew CB Mass, the two formed Dynamic Duo after the group split up in 2003. The released their debut Taxi Driver in 2004 with much fanfare and it quickly became the best-selling album in Korea. They have released seven full-length albums in nine years, garnering a string of top 40 hits as well as the Best Hip-Hop Album award at the Korean Music Awards in 2006. That same year, they founded Amoeba Culture, a record label focused on new and innovative artists, sounds, and design. The company has grown to support not only music but other cultural art forms and supporting various local community organizations helping people in need. Their seventh studio album, Luckynumbers, was released in 2013.
