Jorge Saade-Scaff, Violinist
Jorge Saade-Scaff, one of EcuadorÆs most outstanding violinists, began studying at the National Conservatory of Music when he was six years old. He is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Miami, where he studied with violinist Thomas Moore and violist Pamela McConnell. As of 1995, he was the only Ecuadorian and Latin American accepted at the Mozarteum Institute in Salzburg, Austria, to study with violin virtuoso Ruggiero Ricci. Mr. Saade has been featured as a soloist with orchestras around the world, including the Pan American Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared in such prestigious halls as the Bolivar Hall in London, the International Diplomatic Academy in Paris, and the Library of Congress. He is also a founder of the Ecadorian Youth Symphony Foundation.
