Fiddlin’ Foresters


  The Fiddlin’ Foresters are known as the “official old-time string band of the US Forest Service.”  They are a special musical group composed of Forest Service employees and volunteers from the Rocky Mountain Region.  Since 1994 they have performed over 180 inspirational, educational and entertaining interpretive programs illustrating the importance of natural resource conservation and public land stewardship throughout the country.   The band has performed at national conservation meetings, state fairs, the 2002 Winter Olympics, other international events and seminars, the National Western Stock Show, teacher workshops, elementary schools, national celebrations, open houses and various Forest Service meetings and events.  The group has received the prestigious Forest Service Chief’s Award and the Rocky Mountain Region’s Regional Forester’s Honor Award for their unique interpretive musical program.
