Jake Charron



Biography

Jake Charron has been in high demand as a touring and recording musician for various styles of music, collaborating with artists around the world on piano and guitar. Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with an honours degree in Kinesiology, Jake has pursued music, and had the privilege of performing with a long list of award-winning musicians. Recently, Jake has been touring with Liz Carroll, Troy MacGillivray, Shane Cook, and a newly formed group from Canada, The East Pointers. The debut album from The East Pointers entitled “Secret Victory,” demonstrates the trio’s new take on traditional Canadian-Celtic music, and has been well received around the globe. This past year, Jake was also nominated for a Canadian Folk Music award for his duo album with Shane Cook called “Head to Head.”
