Biography

Recently named both “Artist of the Year” and “Composer of the Year” by Washington City Paper, Mark G. Meadows continues to make an impression on the D.C. jazz scene as an accomplished jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, and jazz educator. In July 2016, he made his acting debut as Jelly Roll Morton in Jelly's Last Jam at Signature Theatre.

Video 12/31/2017: NYE Grand Foyer Party

Join D.C.’s own Mark G. Meadows & The Movement as part of the New Year’s Eve Grand Foyer Party. Mark G. Meadows and his band, The Movement, will electrify jazz, soul, and R&B to bring forth a positive message of love, joy, and hope into this new year. The group will perform on the Millennium Stage at 10 p.m., in addition to more music from Vintage#18.

Admission to the party is permitted with a ticket to another evening show in the building or a receipt from dinner from the Roof Terrace Restaurant dated 12/31/2017.

Both groups will perform on the Millennium Stages leading up to the countdown and midnight balloon drop. Guests can also enjoy champagne bars and a photo booth.
