Biography

Kana Uemura started her career with street performances as a teenager and made a major debut in Japan in 2005. She became a national star with her hit “Goddess of the Bathroom” in 2010. She moved to New York in 2016 and has been performing in New York on monthly basis. She has released 10 studio albums and 13 singles. She has also recently released a cover album featuring hit American classics by the Jackson 5, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, and the Carpenters.

Japanese singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kana Uemura sings J-Pop (Japanese pop music) and American pop music, including her original songs in both English and Japanese at the concert. The New York City-based artist’s concert will be appealing to both young and old generations in all races who love music.
