Flow Tribe

Biography

Flow Tribe, founded in 2004 by six high school friends, represents the next generation of New Orleans backbone cracking music. The nationally touring act regularly headlines venues across the Southeast and has performed at festivals such as the Voodoo Music Experience, French Quarter Festival, and South by Southwest. Last year, the funksters were also featured on MTV’s “Real World – New Orleans.”

Flow Tribe is taking their soul shaking mixture of funk, rock, jazz, and everything in between on the road in support of their freshly released self-titled album, Flow Tribe. Recorded in the summer of 2011 at Dockside Studios with legendary producer John Snyder (Etta James, Soul Live) and acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Bill Summers (Herbie Hancock, Headhunters, Los Hombres Calientes), Flow Tribe showcases the refined sound of a young band on the rise and is a great entry point into the heart of what makes Flow Tribe tick.

This November, Flow Tribe will be on tour spreading their irresistible grooves across the East Coast. Don’t miss your chance to catch Flow Tribe live!
