Biography

The Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Jazz Orchestra, under the coordination of Gary L. Rupert, is the brainchild of Maryland Music Educator David Kauffman and is in its 10th year of existence.  They have performed at the Cumberland Jazz Festival, JEN National Conference, Dizzy’s Club in New York City, and the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival in Rockville, Maryland.  The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Combo, in its first year of existence, is drawn from the performers of the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Orchestra Big Band
