Larry Hanks

Larry Hanks and Deborah Robins sing old songs. Known as a “folksinger’s folksinger”, Mr. Hanks has been performing to delighted festival and club audiences (Fox Hollow, Mariposa, The Portable Folk Festival, The Old Town School of Folk Music, et al) for over 50 years.  Now touring with his wife and musical partner, Mr. Hanks’ mellifluous bass-baritone voice combines with Mrs. Robins’ resonant alto, bringing back to life a large repertoire of songs describing trials and traditions of American life.  On the heels of their warmly-received 1st duo album, No Hiding Place, they proudly present their second new CD Old Days, including grand familiar favorite.  For the legendary San Francisco Bay Area favorite, Larry Hanks, this release commemorates his full-time return to live performance. Mr. Hanks & Mrs. Robins are currently touring the U.S.
