Dansema Dance Theatre is a non-governmental organization working with cultural, artistic and educational projects. One of the most important aims of the organization is to promote contemporary dance for children and youth. Since it was established in 2007 by choreographer Birut? Banevi?i?t? Dansema Dance Theatre toured across Lithuania, successfully performed in Croatia, Netherlands, Belgium.
Birut? Banevi?i?t? is well known lithuanian choreographer who was the first in Lithuania to start creating contemporary dance performances for children and youth. She is also dance teacher and dance education scholar, giving seminars and workshops for children, dancers, choreographers, dance teachers nationally and internationally.
Creation of the performance was supported by LR Kult?ros r?mimo fondas (Culture support fund).
Premiered in 2010. The performance was shown in the International contemporary dance festival for children and Youth Dansema in 2010, toured all over Lithuania and in Belgium.
