Hosted by the Living Classrooms Foundation, it is D.C.’s premiere bluegrass, Americana, and folk festival featuring local musicians.

Listen Local First DC presents The Harry Bells, a horn-and-percussion-driven tribute to the music of Harry Belafonte. They will be performing their own interpretations of his songs, in addition to arrangements of holiday classics, in their own style.

Listen Local First presents, a five-piece band with humble roots in Washington, D.C. The newly formed group has been active since 2014 and performs in the folk-street music style.

The D.C. band is the creative union of artists Alex Braden (Young Rapids, Bella Russia), Drew Hagelin (Cigarette), Margot MacDonald, Sam Raymond (Rival Skies), Sarah Schaffer (Lies About), and Fiona Kohrman.
