The American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra's Chamber Ensembl

The Chamber Ensemble Program of the American Youth Philharmonic is comprised of highly talented musicians who participate in one of AYPO’s advanced orchestras—the American Youth Symphonic Orchestra (AYSO) or the American Youth Philharmonic (AYP). Acceptance into the chamber program is competitive and dependent on the repertoire to be programmed. The program gives musicians the opportunity to enhance their musical development by giving them the chance to study and perform chamber music under the guidance of the acclaimed Ensemble da Camera of Washington, the AYPO ensemble in-residence. Clarinetist Claire Eichhorn, pianist Anna Balakerskaia, and violinist/violist Ricardo Cyncynates coach each group of students and lead public master classes throughout the season.
