Recent librettist work includes an ongoing collaboration with composer Alex Stein and a piece for choir, children's choir, and chamber orchestra with composer and singer Matt Boehler. During the day, she makes operas with kids at Little Opera, an after-school arts education program she founded in 2011. She has been a multi-year finalist for the Princess Grade Awards and the Global Age Project, and has been a resident artist at Zoo Labs, the Playwrights Foundation, the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, and PlayGround.
