Biography

Recognized as a rising star of her generation, soprano Leah Crocetto represented the United States at the 2011 Cardiff BBC Singer of the World Competition as a finalist in the Song Competition. She is a 2010 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Grand Finals Winner; First Place, People's Choice, and Spanish Prize recipient at the 2009 José Iturbi International Music Competition; and winner of the Bel Canto Foundation Competition. Ms. Crocetto recently debuted in the title role of Verdi's Aida to tremendous critical acclaim at San Francisco Opera, in a new production directed by Francesca Zambello.
