About the Program

The 18th Street Singers, now in their fifth year, make their debut performance at the Kennedy Center with their spring program, Haunted, a musical reflection on the music and moments that linger in the soul.  The program explores through music how our heritage, history, experiences, and loved ones stay with us and shape us after they are gone.  The diverse program aims to make choral music fun and accessible to wider audiences, and will include classic works from Billings, Poulenc, and Steffe and compelling, modern American pieces from the likes of Whitacre and Gjeilo.
