Surely Dvorák's greatest choral work, his Stabat Mater stands as one of the most supremely eloquent
and moving settings of this ancient text ever composed.  The soaring melodies and glorious
orchestration fully express the many emotions felt by Mary, the Mother of Christ, as she witnessed
the final agony of her Son.
