Misfortune, greed, and fidelity collide in this storm-battered tale of one man's quest for life-saving love.  Wagner retells the nautical tale of the fearsome Flying Dutchman, cursed to sail the seas until he finds a woman who will love him until death.

Performed in German with English supertitles.
Performance Length - 2 hours, 8 minutes, with no late seating and no intermission.

WNO Access to Opera Ticket Program:  For performances on Tuesday, Mar. 25 and Thursday,  
Apr. 10, tickets at the special price of $25 each are available for day-of purchase, in person at the 
KC box office beginning at 10:00 a.m.
